I’ve known Matt since he was just a little guy running around the neighborhood with my younger brother. He and my brother both grew up a have remained friends through the years. So, when I heard that Matt had proposed to his girlfriend, Sam, I thought to myself, “man, wouldn’t it be a trip to photograph his wedding?” Fast forward a month or so and an email pops into my inbox from Matt. Needless to say, I’m crazy excited to be photographing their late September wedding this coming fall.

We met up at St. Thomas University, Matt’s alma mater, and I finally got to meet Sam. I can totally see why Matt is head over heels for her. Together they function as such a great team. During even the brief hour or so that we were together they were quick to jump into a bit of a muddy adventure, and we all spent most of the time laughing together – a great tell for their relationship, I think. Like I said, these two are so excellent to work with, and I just can’t wait for their gorgeous autumn wedding!
