The anticipation builds and builds on a wedding day, that last touch of lipstick, the cinching up of the dress, the final spritz of hairspray. These things that can be so everyday are met with incredible gravity and excitement in these moments. I love this photo for the stark contrast, for the spray that can just be made out, for the way the stylist and friend seems to hold Andrea’s face up, for the calm of Andrea’s closed eyes, taking in this time, looking forward to seeing and marrying her sweetie. I’m such a sucker for the bridal prep room – for those big emotions and heightened senses. I swear, I get just as excited for the big moments as you do!
