It’s another installment of what will hopefully be many monthly letters written to my son. It’s a part of a memory-keeping attempt to capture these glimpses into the everyday and the not so ordinary moments that pass by so quickly as children grow. This is an ongoing series.
My sweet guy,
While you still (and probably will for a long long time) love running and jumping and crashing and large-motoring yourself silly, you’ve lately become really interested in doing more fine motor activities. You made a little bracelet for me with your Aunt Courtney and wouldn’t stop talking about the beads, so we picked some up along with pipe cleaners and playing beads has become a few-times-daily activity. Throw in some tiny bulldozers and uncooked pasta, a package of plastic Easter eggs, a bucket and some tongs, and of course, your constantly growing and very loved train set and you’ve got a whole lot of fun from our days. It’s fascinating to see you shift to this new kind of play and concentration. Makes me wonder just where your crazy little brain will take us next!
So, so much,
Mama

He is just so cute. Those little hands! I love how you notice his little and big growth moments.
