It was a rainy Thursday morning when I headed over to meet sweet new Henry and his mama, Heather. One of my favorite parts about doing photos with new families is getting an inside peek at the very beginnings of an incredible bond. Mom and baby are just getting to know each other, to hear each other’s voices, to learn each other’s movements, and to become acquainted with each other’s facial expressions. There is always an immediate feeling of home, though, when that new little one is snuggled in with his mama, and that was absolutely the case with these two. Thank you, thank you for giving me the opportunity to step into your beautiful newness. It is truly an honor.
