Autumn Roadtrip | Traveling Photography

Back in October, we packed up our little car and headed out on our son’s first roadtrip to visit good friends on their farm in Nebraska. The little guy did amazingly well – really only losing it in the car once we were about 30 minutes from being back at home – not too shabby at all! Lindsey and I were pregnant at the same time, and our little kiddos are just a month apart in age. It’s such a great and wonderful thing to share this journey into the new stage of our families together, even though the distance separates us. There aren’t many days that go by that we don’t exchange at least a text or seven. While we were visiting, it was harvest time, so we didn’t see much of Thomas, Lindsey’s husband, but we did get a quick sunrise photo shoot in for them before he headed out for the day. My husband and I also got to ride along for a few acres on the combine – and for us city slickers, that was quite the experience!

Hey Nebraska, what do you think of some Fall Mini Sessions in October of 2015? Let me know – I’m working on a plan to take this show on the road!
