I’m joining a talented group of photographers for a 10 on 10 blog circle. The idea is to shoot and share a ten image story from a single day, and this day is a special one in our house. We spent a fairly normal day doing things that make our little birthday boy happy – a quiet morning in beautiful sunlight, a trip to Choo Choo Bob’s, balloons, some all-family squeezes, and frosting and sprinkle heavy cupcakes from the completely delightful SmallCakes. Be sure to link on through the circle to see some of the other gorgeous stories happening across the country and the world! The beautiful Stephanie is up next!

Love the colors in all of them! Special moments, so happy you’re recording all of it – it goes so fast!
Thanks, Maite <3 <3
He is getting so big! I love that last one- you can see that he isn’t a baby, but a little boy. What a sweetie.
Absolutely – one of those moments where I couldn’t be happier, and am also mourning that it goes so quickly at the same time.
So cute. Love that a place exists called “Choo Choo Bobs.”
It’s a magical place, overrun with all manner of train-obsessed kiddos 😉
Aw…Happy Birthday sweet boy! What a beautiful boy he is Allison. I must say those first two images tug at my heart especially. They seem so intimate. Love his little hairs sprouting up! You have a beautiful family!
Those hairs have been doing that since day one 🙂 Makes me happy that they still do – someday he’ll hate that cowlick, but I’m gonna love it FOREVER.
So colorful and happy are these! That light in the first one, though… yes.
