I met Kari when we were landed as roommates our first summer up at Sawbill Canoe Outfitters up on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in far Northern Minnesota, and I was first totally excited for her when she announced her engagement to Alex, and second, completely thrilled when she asked if I would be willing to shoot their wedding. Putting a wedding together from across the country is no easy feat, but this event came off just beautifully. Threats of late summer storms held fast through the ceremony but didn’t end up breaking until everyone was safely under the pavilion at the reception.
