As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been photographing this sweet family for quite a while now. This ongoing relationship is absolutely one of my favorite parts about being a photographer. It has become almost second nature for us all to spend time together, me with my camera, taking photos of their family enjoying each others’ company. This time we headed over to Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan for a little exploring and beach play. We are crazy lucky that here in Minnesota we have an incredible dedication to keeping green spaces both plentiful and accessible. The Lebanon Hills system is massive and we hardly made a dent in it – leaves a lot more space for future explorations!
Jackson and Tatum, these two kids, are so much fun. They’re so obviously siblings, and yet their temperaments are as different as day and night. Jackson is the cautious one, always a little hesitant to get into something that could be messy, worried about this or that. Tatum, on the other hand, is a bombastic adventurer. She dives headlong into anything she finds even remotely interesting without hesitation or fear. I wonder how much of that is how these two will be going forward and how much may be because of their particular ages. I’ll have to wait and see!
Thank you so much, you guys, for letting me come along on your weekend outing – as always, it was an absolute pleasure!
