12 by 12 – March 2018 | A Video Day in the Life

After quite a few years of posting our favorite five shots from the previous month on the fifth of the month, the beautiful group of women that I’ve been posting with is going to be trying something a little different this year. On the 12th of each month, we’ll post 12 shots all photographed in one day – hour by hour. When you’re done passing through my day, I’d love if you’d head over to Audrey’s blog to see what she’s been up to!

The twelfth was approaching and I started looking at my schedule, realizing pretty quickly that if I didn’t shoot in the next day or two, I wasn’t going to get it done this month, and so I started in. I had said previously that I wanted to try to do something a little different each month that we were going at this. In January, I did a fairly typical day-in-the-life style of shoot. In February, I tried to do a similar day-in-the-life, but focusing in on a still life shot for each hour.

This month, in my sudden scramble, I started in on kind of that typical sort of shoot before I realized that I had already done two hours worth of videos as well. “What the heck?” I said, and kept shooting little video clips every hour for the rest of the day. Now, I am by no means a professional videographer, but it’s something that I really love to do for my family. I’ve been making little compilation videos similar to this month by month for a couple of years now, and I so enjoy it.
